KAYCIE KING

MS, CCC-SLP

Speech-Language Pathologist

Kaycie has a passion for serving children with hearing loss by serving as a clinician, resource and advocate for the whole child and family system. This includes assisting families and clients in understanding and fully accessing all options available to them within the school and wider community environments in which our clients participate. She has evaluated and served children from birth through high school with a wide range of impairments that can co-occur with hearing loss, including children with multiple exceptionalities. Her commitment to serving children with hearing loss started during her time working with a student cochlear implant team during graduate school and only strengthened when her amazing oldest nephew was born with conductive hearing loss due to aural atresia.

Outside of her time at Hear Indiana, Kaycie loves being with her 4 children and extended family, including her many nieces and nephews. Most of the time they are participating in or cheering each other on in some type of sport, whether organized or a family pick-up game. During the short off-seasons, she enjoys exploring new places around Indy, being outside, hiking, cooking and attempting to keep her many house plants alive.
