Hear Indiana is thrilled to be offering comprehensive language and speech evaluations free of charge to children with hearing loss in Indiana thanks to our generous donors.  Comprehensive evaluations give the entire team from parents to educators, audiologists, and therapists valuable information about how to best set each child up for sustainable success so that they can meet their full potential. Whether you need a baseline measure of their progress or want to see how they are keeping up with their peers over time, a comprehensive evaluation can help build a roadmap to success.

Hear Indiana provides comprehensive speech and language services tailored to a deaf or hard of hearing child’s individual needs. From diagnosis to graduation, our experienced pediatric team inspires children to listen, speak, and read in a wonderful world of sound.

When it comes to speaking up for your child’s distinct needs, many parents feel intimidated or unsure about how to proceed. And you don’t need to go at it alone. Hear Indiana provides free special education advocacy to make sure you get the help your child needs. We discuss your unique situation, review relevant reports, and meet with you to develop a plan of action.

A family can spend up to $40,000 on hearing aids before their child graduates. And for many, that cost is simply out of reach, leaving children in silence. Approximately 20 states in the U.S. currently require insurance companies to cover the cost of children’s hearing aids, but Indiana is not one of them. Hear Indiana is committed to bringing your stories and concerns to lawmakers to inspire change.
