Hear Indiana Announces Ellyn McCall as New CEO

The Board of Directors of Hear Indiana is pleased to announce the appointment of Ellyn McCall as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective December 1, 2023.

McCall most recently served as interim CEO and has served in leadership roles at Hear Indiana for several years. Her passion for supporting individuals with hearing loss and her commitment to making a meaningful impact align perfectly with Hear Indiana’s mission and vision and led to the decision to entrust Ellyn with the leadership of Hear Indiana.

“I am thrilled and honored to serve Hear Indiana as its new CEO,” said Ellyn. “I am deeply committed to advancing the mission of the organization and working collaboratively with the board, staff, volunteers, and stakeholders to continue the incredible work in supporting individuals with hearing loss and their families. Together, we can improve outcomes for children all over the state.”

McCall’s strategic vision will play a pivotal role in steering Hear Indiana into its next phase of growth and impact. Her leadership will reinforce the organization’s commitment to providing vital resources, advocacy, and clinical services for individuals with hearing loss throughout Indiana.

Ellyn McCall holds a bachelor’s degree in special education and a master’s degree in Language Development and Learning and is a certified Listening and Spoken Language Specialist. Her unique blend of expertise and dedication will undoubtedly contribute significantly to the success and impact of Hear Indiana.
