Course Description:

Increasing numbers of children are growing up in poverty. While poverty has a negative impact on the development of all children, for children who are deaf/hard of hearing the risk is even greater. This session will include current data on poverty, information on advocacy, effective strategies, analysis of case studies, and resources for improving services for children living in poverty.
