Dear Hear Indiana,

Our family was very fortunate to receive the AG Bell Family Scholarship to attend the AG Bell Convention 2008. We were nervous and excited all at the same time. I was so excited for Robbie, our older son, and my husband, Bret, to see all the children and older adults with hearing aids and cochlear implants. Being from a small town, you don't see that much. It was four days of learning, networking, and just having a great support system from other parents around the world. On Saturday night we were able to attend the Parent Night. We were served dinner, which was great, and while the kids watched a movie we were able to meet other families.  We met great people from New York, Arkansas, Texas and even Nova Scotia Canada. I highly recommend this convention to all of you and hope to see you in Orlando in 2010!!
